Victoria Suzanne Vasquez, 73, of De Leon, passed from this life Friday, November 18, 2022, in Ft. Worth. She was born November 10, 1949, in Belvedere, California to Latrell and Victoria Guido Davis. Victoria married her loving husband, Zaragoza Vasquez, in 1968.
Suzanne and her siblings spent their childhood in California, but she lived all her adult life in De Leon, Texas. She retired from Cross Timbers Health Clinic in De Leon where she was employed as the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program Director. She loved her career and the opportunities it provided her to help those in need. Suzanne was a strong Christian woman and believed in sharing the love of God wherever she went. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was her happiest while spending time with them at large family gatherings. Suzanne loved Bingo; and she took it seriously! She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Christina Martin and husband, Larry; and Rebecca Phillips; grandchildren, Tiffany Saldivar, Marcus Saldivar, Marlie Saldivar, Tanner Phillips, Shelby Reagan, and Jaden Childers and husband, Isaiah; great-grandchildren, Justess Saldivar, Ava Groves, Priscilla Sanchez, Camilla Ruiz, KC Moore, Kinsley Saldivar, Krista Saldivar and Braydon Saldivar; sister, Amanda Williams; brother, Glen Davis and wife, Deb; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, Zaragoza; parents; sister, Betty Jo Perez; and brother, Robert Davis.
Funeral services celebrating Suzanne's life were held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home Chapel with Clint Davis and Glen Davis officiating. Interment followed in De Leon Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Marcus Saldivar, Caden Davis, J.J. Davis, Colton Davis, Steve Davis, and Michael Davis. Tanner Phillips was an honorary pallbearer.
