Funeral services for Wanda M. Martin, 103, of Desdemona, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home Chapel in De Leon with Minister Ken Frazier officiating. Graveside services followed in Desdemona Cemetery.

Wanda was born to Martha Mayfield Robinson and Tilden Clark Robinson of the Victor Community. She married Lee Martin of Desdemona and together they lived and farmed in the Desdemona area.

Wanda loved her Lord, her family, her church and her community. Many friends and family members will remember celebrating her life at her 100th birthday party at the Desdemona Community Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee; and her only son, Michael Lee Martin; brothers, Eual Robinson and TC Robinson; and sisters, Lucille Tatum, Odeal Sims and Ina Barker.

She is survived by one grandson, Jason Martin of Aztec, New Mexico; one great-granddaughter, Bella May Martin; nephews, Don Sims and wife Joyce of Lingleville, Royce Sims of Stephenville, David Sims of Paradise, Texas, Norman Sims of Seminole, Arlis Sims and wife Shirley of Lingleville, Clark Robinson and wife Sarah of Abilene; one niece, Linda Karen Prince and husband Paul.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Desdemona Activity Center, P.O. Box 2, Desdemona, Texas, 76445.
