William "Willy" Lee Brownlee a.k.a. "Outlaw", 66, of De Leon, passed away July 2, 2021. Willy was raised in De Leon by his parents, Nina May Isbell Brownlee and John Alvie Brownlee.

Willy served in the United States Army following high school. He loved collecting cars and working on them. He was a skilled mechanic and especially loved working on motorcycles. He was employed many years driving big rigs all over. Willy loved children. He was always kind and patient with kids and the first to make them laugh. He is survived by his long-time friend and what Willy would call his "chosen son", John Hooper.  Willy is also survived by many friends who will miss him always.

Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in De Leon Cemetery.
