Zelma Lee Norwood, of De Leon, left this world to be with our Heavenly Father the afternoon of Friday, October 17, 2014.

Zelma was reunited in death with her parents, Allen Paul and Lorene Phillips; the love of her life (husband), Henry "Gene" Norwood; brother, Roy Phillips; sister, Joy Bland; as well as other extended family that passed before her.

Zelma is survived by her son, Perry McNair of De Leon, and his daughters, Kristin Prestidge and husband Justin of Fort Worth, April Parker and husband Eddie of Abilene, and Lori McNair of Comanche; son, David Norwood and wife Janice of Baird, and their children, JJ and Scott Artel; Scott Norwood, Gayla Norwood and Bobby Norwood; daughter, Patricia Fisher and husband Mark of Hurst, and their children, Christopher Fisher, Tony Fisher and wife Cori, and Matthew Norwood and wife Elizabeth; daughter, Terry Lopez of Bedford and her daughter, Misty Fossett and husband Jonathan; daughter, Karen Norwood of North Richland Hills and her children, Amanda Norwood and Lacy Norwood; son, William Norwood and wife Diane of Haslet, and their children, Jacob Norwood and Summer Norwood; grandchildren, Evelyn, Brialla, Nicholas, Alexis, Layla, Rocky, Ethan and Christopher; ten great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Phillips and wife, Sandi of Odessa; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 20, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Brother Ray Seckinger and Brother Alan Sadberry officiating. Graveside services followed in De Leon Cemetery.
