Denver Carleton of Vandyke, TX passed away on March 16, 2026. He was born on December 12, 1944, in Gorman, Texas to Grace and Denver L. Carleton Sr.

Denver graduated from Comanche High School. For 30 years, Denver worked for Santa Fe Railroad. Upon retiring, he moved back to Comanche and built a home on his family farm.

Denver loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.

Denver was preceded in death by his Mother and Father and also his sister, Faye Pack. He is survived by his sister, Ann Crim, his son, Dennie Carleton, and Dennie's brother Keegan Greenlee.

Graveside funeral services were held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in De Leon Cemetery with Brother Harold Higginbotham officiating.
